The Netherlands' national airline is KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and the company offer flights from many destinations around the world. Other operators to the country are numerous, and include many budget airlines, which can offer flights for around the £20-30 mark.
Flights from London to Amsterdam take approximately 1 hour. New York to Amsterdam takes around seven hours. Amsterdam's international airport offers taxis, rail, coach and bus services into town, and facilities include bars, banks, gift shops and restaurants, amongst other things. The same quality of service is to be expected of the country's other major airports in Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Maastricht, Groningen and Enschede, though they don't all have the same transport links.
